Elizabeth Valera Bennett - My sister was born October 23, 1975 - 3 years my senior - with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a severe and rare form of mental and physical retardation. Handicapped since birth, with numerous obsessive-compulsive tendencies, autistic traits, stunted growth she was in many respects a prisoner of her own body. But despite her physical infirmities, through all her pain and discomfortthere shined a personality of such brilliance it left its mark on everyone she encountered.
